Mitchell is the newest Cadet Accountant here at Martel Wheatley. Mitchell was born and raised in Dubbo and from a young age he enjoyed mathematics and problem solving.
Mitchell started his cadetship with Martel Wheatley in October 2017. He achieved his Higher School Certificate from Dubbo College Senior Campus in 2016. Mitchell provides valued support to principals and can often be the second point of contact for clients with his approachable and positive demeanour.
As a cadet accountant Mitchell often liaises with the ATO, and other companies for clients, and prepares activity statements, financial statements and tax returns for a range of clients. Mitchell can often be found presenting during our professional development meetings as he enjoys improving in all areas of accounting and tax.
Mitchell has recently begun working towards a Bachelor of Accounting at Charles Sturt University through distance education.
Personal: Mitchell values spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys camping and travelling to Sydney whenever he can to see old friends.
