Senior Cadet Accountant

Rebecca started with Martel Wheatley in September 2016 as a Business Administration Trainee. During this time she completed her Certificate III in Business Administration and was awarded the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce Rhino Award for Trainee of the Year in 2017. 

Rebecca has since transitioned into the role of a Senior Cadet Accountant who prepares and completes, activity statements, tax returns and financial statements. Rebecca is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Accounting and plans to enroll in the Chartered Accountants program once completed. 

Originally from Gunnedah, Rebecca grew up on a cropping farm with stud cattle. Rebecca takes an active interest in clients from all walks of life. She also enjoys working closely with our farming clients to establish family business structures, prepare tax plans and provide regular management accounts. 

In a world of constantly evolving technology, Rebecca is the go to person within our office for software support. Rebecca is trained and confident in an array of software including, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks and can solve issues over the phone or via email.

Qualifications: Certificate III in Business Administration

Memberships: NSW Justice of the Peace

Personal: In Rebecca's spare time she loves traveling to Sydney with her friends to catch the latest in music.
