Jacob Coggan commenced his cadetship with Martel Wheatley in January 2020 and completed his Bachelor of Accounting at Charles Sturt University in 2024.
A Dubbo local, Jacob completed his Higher School Certificate at Macquarie Anglican Grammar School in 2019. He successfully completed the Chartered Accountants (CA) Program in 2026 and continues to build on his technical knowledge to provide practical and valuable advice to clients.
Jacob prepares activity statements, financial statements and income tax returns for a diverse range of clients. He has developed a strong interest in self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs) and is now the firm's in-house superannuation specialist. Jacob enjoys working closely with clients, taking the time to understand their goals and helping them navigate often complex accounting and taxation matters in a clear and practical way.
Outside of work, Jacob enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping and fishing, and regularly travelling to Newcastle to catch up with old friends.
